Health and Wellness

At Sunny & Saima Assisted Living Homes, we do proactive health and wellness management in collaboration with other Health Care Providers such as Doctors and Nurses that visit the facility on regular basis to attend to our residents based on their needs. Each Resident has a Care Plan developed upon admission and our Caregivers and Providers follow the plan which is also signed off by the Residents or their POA (Power of Attorney) family members for those that have cognitive issues. Medication is professionally managed by a Registered Nurse (RN) and passed by trained Caregivers with medication delegation as prescribed by the attending physician or PRN. Staff adheres or complies with all State Regulatory measures and doctor's orders.

Our Staff

Our trained staff or Caregivers follow the rules, and regulations that are in place or enforce from the State of Texas Department of Health & Human Services. The biggest area is ANE - Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation.

Every staff is trained to understand how serious and important it is to NOT violate the rules regarding any of these measures in dealing with our residents. As such there is no room at the facility for Abuse - whereby a resident is treated badly, neglected from the care they deserve, or exploited in any way or shape.

In that respect, most staff bring compassion with tender love in our overall care delivery for our residents. .
